About Dragon Marsh Studios

Kailey Hall is the owner and principal artist for Dragon Marsh Studios based on St Helena Island. Born in Nebraska, she came to South Carolina when she was 9 years old. Here in the Low Country, she discovered her love for creating art. The natural beauty all around inspired her to paint what she saw. Over the years she painted and tried other mediums as just a hobby. She painted a turtle in a coral reef as a gift for her parents and the family exclaimed that it was amazing.

Her family encouraged her believing it was good enough to sell. This idea was solidified when Kailey won the Beaufort county library bookmark competition of 2022. It was at this point she started painting with a business in mind. Kailey decided to call her business Dragon Marsh Studios after her love of dragons and the Lowcountry.
